We now offer two types of initial appointment:

The Thirty

30 Minute call only -£100  (£120 inc vat)

In this package you will receive a 30 minute phone call with a Family Law Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.

We will talk you through your options and provide you with advice to move forward. 

Our advice will not be confirmed in writing so as to minimise the cost to you. (We will note the advice for our internal records only).

The Sixty

60 Minute advice appointment - £250 (£300 inc vat)

In this package you will receive a 60 minute advice appointment with a Family Law Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.

The meeting can take place on the phone, virtually, or in person at our offices, however is most convenient for you.

We will talk you through your options and provide you with the detailed advice you need to move forward. 

We will follow up the meeting with a letter confirming our advice in writing, and setting out the next steps.

The fee is payable before the appointment.

Please note, our initial appointments are not the same as the ‘free half an hour’ appointments that may be offered by some law firms. Free appointments tend to be limited to generic advice only and therefore we do not offer free consultations, as we believe in providing our clients with the best advice.  We know such offers may sound appealing however, in our experience, these meetings do not give sufficient time to discuss matters fully nor indeed do they provide any practical advice about your situation and you would normally be charged for any follow up advice in writing.

Please note: If you are eligible for legal aid you will not be required to pay the initial appointment fee, but you will be required to produce your legal aid evidence.
